Texans Address Food Insecurity

North Texans Feed Their Neighbors During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Among the nearly 100 requests for urgent funding that The Rees-Jones Foundation awarded in 2020, initiatives to address food insecurity were the most prevalent. From major distribution hubs like the North Texas Food Bank that supplied neighborhood pantries like Brother Bill’s Helping Hand to local churches that hosted food drives, the North Texas community stepped up to provide for others experiencing food insecurity.
